Day in the Life of a Solaris 11 admin

This is based on a fictual day in the life of a Solaris 11 admin, of course Solaris 11 isn't out yet.

Today's To-Do List

The webadmin guys need 4 boxes, with the basic database and tomcat setup each needs 25mbits of traffic and 2GB of ram and 40GB of diskspace for there web pages. They have already registered duey, cheatum, and how, badly as names for the servers

our Liquid advertising division has hired 5 new copywriters please create user accounts and place a copy of all our Ad's for this year, and last in their home directory. Their usernames are jimb, jackd, josec, budw, cuttys.

Our main database server, knowitall needs another 5TB of diskspace.

Our HR webserver was defaced over the weekend, the 3^rd shifters have already documented the problem, and fixed it, can you please restore the website from fridays backups.

Marketing department is fruious they can't access the internet, can you find and fix the problem. ASAP

First things first lets see what is up with marketings web connection.

ah the nameserver is down on the proxy box, lets restart the nameserver and see if that fixes things.

okay everything looks good, lets test and make sure the network is backup

Does all this seem to be good to be true? Its not, all of this is availible in Solaris Express once you add the latest patch for crossbow.
